Texla performs lamination and cutting into finished details to a wide range of different markets. In close co-operation with our customers we develop products for all kinds of applications. Below we present where some of our products are assembled.
Automotive
Texla has a long tradition of lamination for the automotive industry. Texla is today the preferred supplier and development partner to many of the Tier 1. As a supplier to all the Tier 1 and many of the OEM’s all over the world we are used to extreme demands on quality and flexibility.
Texla laminates with different techniques. We are able to laminate for seating, head rests, door panels, pillars, heat seating, headliner, ventilated seats, to mention a few examples.
Our strengths are definitely our experience and knowledge about the demands of the automotive market. Our automotive clients know that Texla has the processes, the procedures and the service to deliver according to specification every time.
Beds
More recently, how people want to sleep has become important to Texla. Bed lamination has turned out to be Texla’s second biggest market over the past two years.
Beds of today are very well designed and the straight lines need lamination to improve the quality and to avoid creases on the beds. Adjustable beds make the properties of the lamination more important.
During the past years we have learnt about the materials to use and the specific demands that the customers in the bed industry have. We have developed environmentally friendly foams that suit the markets demands. We have also developed options such as water resistant products that can be useful to this market.
Texla is a supplier to many of the Scandinavian bed manufacturers, and our customers with production in other areas of Europe can choose another Texla plant for lamination.
Interior
All public environments use laminated textiles. Texla is laminating to office furniture and screens among other things.
The demands on noise reduction in all public environments have increased, especially so in school environments.
The floor is one very important aspect to decrease the sound in the room and there Texla is developing products that meet the new standards. These products are used in other public environments as well. Texla is also laminating products to put on the walls or in the ceiling to absorb sound.
Industrial
Now, when our eyes are wide open and not so focused on the automotive we are amazed by the fact that laminated products are used everywhere.
We are producing materials for construction, industrial environments, boats and hen houses as examples of the different areas where laminated products and our cut details are used.
Since Texla can combine different layers of materials we can achieve the properties that the customer is asking for. Adhesive lamination for engines and oil absorbing materials for mechanic environments are further examples on products produced by Texla. Each product is developed together with the customer and each product is unique for that specific project.
